Bendigo Ernest Hotel is an immersive experience that combines historic grandeur with modern features. Boasting 10 individualised suites, each room is adorned with alluring Australian art and swept with contemporary aesthetics, luxurious bedding, and designer furnishings – combining to forge a memorable and bespoke stay.
Hotel check-in is after 2pm, with self check-in available after 6pm as well as complimentary off-street parking at the rear of the building.
Restaurant Terrae is coming soon to Hotel Ernest in the Autumn of 2024. Terrae will span over two levels offering classic European all day dining, an extensive wine list & genuine hospitality.
In the meantime there is a host of wonderful cafes and restaurants located within walking distance to Hotel Ernest.

*Please note that all suites have king sized beds. We do not offer any other bedding configurations such as single beds. Suites have a maximum occupancy of two people, except for when you are travelling with an infant, which are free. Portacots are not provided.

The Accessible Suite has been designed for guests who require additional space and amenities. It features all the essentials, a king bed, spacious bathroom, roll-in shower with seat, lowered basin and support handles – creating a soul-warming space to farewell the world outside.
The Ernest Hotel also understands that a holiday is not complete without one’s furry friend. The hotel’s pet-friendly suite accommodates house-trained dogs so they are equally able to enjoy their stay away.*
*Please note that a one-off fee of $40 applies for the pet-friendly suite. Only one dog is permitted inside, and we kindly request they do not climb the furniture. Guests are required to provide their own dog bedding, and for the comfort of your neighbours, please ensure your fun-loving friend does not bark into the night.
